COMPLETE SUPPORT FOR MICROSOFT CSP CATALOG:
The new RackNap version supports purchase of the full CSP Catalog, Including Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Azure by the end-customers.
It enables Microsoft CSPs to sell Azure on different billing mechanisms. Here are some quick details:
-
For Microsoft Azure on pre-paid plans:
- Depending on the over usage, CSPs can enable bandwidth to be charged separately from the customers on a monthly basis.
- Read more about enabling Managed Azure pre-defined plans in detail here.
-
For Microsoft Azure on Pay-per-Use plans:
- Define credit limit – CSPs can set a certain credit limit for their Microsoft Azure customers to maintain a certain credit limit to be able to use Azure on pay-per-use basis. This helps them reduce the financial risk associated with customer buying and using unlimited Azure cloud resources.
The CSPs can generate a monthly invoice automatically for the Azure cloud consumption, easing the Azure billing management at both the ends – customer’s as well as their’s.
With RackNap, CSPs can also set automatic notifications in Service Notifications Master to notify their customers at regular intervals about their credit limit and resource usage.
They can also set the account to be terminated automatically along with Plesk license termination in case the credit limit gets exhausted.
- Share Azure Portal details – The CSPs can share the Azure portal details with their end-customers and enable them to freely use any of the SKUs available with Microsoft.
- Usage based Billing – CSPs can now charge the usage of any of these SKUs everyday based on the resource consumption by the customers.
- Define credit limit – CSPs can set a certain credit limit for their Microsoft Azure customers to maintain a certain credit limit to be able to use Azure on pay-per-use basis. This helps them reduce the financial risk associated with customer buying and using unlimited Azure cloud resources.
-
IaaS Solution (Powered by Azure) – Pay-per-Use plans:
- CSPs can auto-provision the pre-defined plans.
- Customer can:

INTEGRATION WITH OPENSRS
RackNap’s new version now comes fully integrated with OpenSRS – a leading platform for managing domain names, security products, email addresses and more.
Read the press release here.
The integration enables service providers to resell domain names and hosted email services from OpenSRS through a centralized marketplace, where they can automatically provision and bill the end customers.
Based on cloud technology, the email solution from OpenSRS will give the customers anytime-anywhere and secure access to emails, contacts and calendars from any device. Protection against spam further helps the users to get a filtered mail-box free from any unrequired mails.
The customer can manage domains and email from OpenSRS via his RackNap client panel as shown in the graphics below.
Also, the service provider’s administrator can manage the email account on client’s behalf as shown in the screenshot below.
Last but not the least, RackNap Express trial accounts can now be upgraded to paid version directly from within the admin panel. The administrator can click on Upgrade/Downgrade service to directly upgrade to a paid account.
We’ll keep posting details of new RackNap versions with improved functionalities that can benefit CSPs and service providers go-to-market faster, automate and manage cloud services easily at one place. So, keep visiting.
