The quality in a service or product is not what you put into it. It is what the customer gets out of it – Peter Drucker, American Management author.

As promised last month, we are back with RackNap June Updates. The month of June has been progressive, and we have brought a lot of new capabilities to our customers.

The new updates for RackNap Subscription billing software include several functional updates as well as new integrations.

Let’s look at the updates:

Core Platform enhancements:

1. Automatic service renewal

The new functionality provides ability for service providers and partners to automatically renew service, generate appropriate invoices etc. This capability saves significant manual efforts and results in huge cost savings. All renewed/not-renewed services can be identified easily using appropriate management search options.

2. ‘Invoice Due Days’ provision

Service providers can now set invoice due days for their partners at the time of onboarding them. It helps tighter control of cash flow of an organization and also encourages partners to pay within a specified time limit.

Service providers can simply set the invoice due days by logging into a partner’s account and setting the due date under his profile section.

3. New provision of ‘ticket-type’ and ‘root-cause’ for support tickets

This functionality enables users to define or change a “Ticket Type” and makes it mandatory for admins to report the root cause before closing a ticket. This helps take corrective actions for big impacting ticket types.

You can define the ticket type while creating a ticket, like shown below:

Root-cause can be entered while closing the ticket. You can see an example of ticket-type and root-cause in the below screenshot:

4. Simplified Office 365 Upgrade process

Users can now upgrade to a higher Office 365 plan in an easier way within customer control panel and admin panel. Simply go to the Upgrade/Downgrade Service section within your panel and select the appropriate plan to which you want to upgrade.

The below window will open when you click on the Upgrade/Downgrade Service tab (as shown in above screenshot).

Services Integration:

5. Integration with Synergy Domains

RackNap is now fully integrated with Synergy Domains and you can now resell domains from Synergy Wholesale via RackNap. Synergy Wholesale is an online solutions partner, offering various reseller opportunities. Buy domains at competitive prices from them and resell via the RackNap automation.

6. Integration with OpenSRS SSL

RackNap functionality with OpenSRS has been enhanced to sell SSL certificates in addition to domains and emails that were already there. OpenSRS offers a wide range of SSL certificates. You can select and resell the right SSL certificate to your customer, that too, at customized prices via RackNap.

7. Acronis Backup Solution Integration

RackNap is fully integrated with Acronis Backup solutions. You can define your own prices and plans for selling Acronis Backup via RackNap.

Acronis Backup solution is a leading hybrid cloud backup with the capability to protect customer data from leading cyberattacks like ransomware. Now, with RackNap’s integration with Acronis Backup, sell the solution with complete ease and end-to-end automation.
